What a difference five days can make. Tuesday night I was photographing my house under a foot and a half of fresh snow. Today the sun is out and it will be close to 60 degrees and headed for the 70's over the next couple of days! There are flowers poking out of the ground and the hill behind the house is beginning to turn green. After a long, record breaking winter, we are turning the corner. You can feel it in your bones. The two photographs here show the contrast between Tuesday when I waded through the snow to take the photograph of the house and a quick shot of the snow shovels on Saturday afternoon. I'd left them standing in the snow bank Tuesday night. I love the seasons and the constant variety they bring to our lives. I know many of us were snow weary this year, but all it took was five days to make a difference.
