As the father of 5 boys and the grandfather of 11 more (not to say we don’t have any girls in the crowd) I got a kick out of this family. They just melted into the wonder and magic of Santa. Well behaved and interacting readily with the man in red, I enjoyed photographing them during their Santa Experience. They were actually one of four families whose grandparents had booked sessions for each of their kid’s families. It was the grandparents who selected the portrait of these kids as a Christmas gift for the family so I can only imagine the parent’s feelings when they finally saw the finished photograph. But if they are anything like me, the father of those boys was excited beyond measure. I was and they weren’t even mine!
