It was the last day for the Ice Castle due to warmer than normal temperatures. (Although as I write this there is snow on the ground and the temperatures are below freezing.) That was the final motivator to get me up to Midway, Utah to photograph the Castle. Unfortunately I arrived to find they were not opening until after dark, not a great time for photographs. Not wanting to leave empty handed I went for the next best thing, I walked around the perimeter photographing the exterior walls. Here are some of the results. They were all taken with a Canon EOS R5, and RF100-500mm, and hand held. Please take the time to let me know what you think and where ever you are - stay warm!
