I First heard about Don Joaquin's Street Tacos in American Fork, Utah when one of my daughters and her date were going there to eat. Her other sisters, my wife and I went down to tease her and her date, but not too much. The eatery quickly turned into a favorites. Later on a neighbor opened a second Don Joaquin's in Lindon. We've been to that one several times since they began feeding the public. The place was crowded when we walked in about noon. It was Taco Tuesday so tacos that begin at $!.75 each were going to $1.15. I ordered a plate of four! each taco starts with two fresh soft corn tortillas covered with your choice of meats (See the photo of the menu.). Today I had two beef, one chicken and a chorizo. Joaquin's has a small self serve bar where you can apply your own sauce and condiments. Watch your step here or you'll set your mouth on fire! The green sauce is not hot. Since I was just getting over a cold I put their Pineapple and Habanero condiment on one of my tacos to help clear my sinuses. Whew! Don Joaquin's is a great place for a quick inexpensive lunch. I went up and bought a couple of Flans for desert (My wife was with me!) after the tacos. I won't have to eat much the rest of the day. Bonappetit Amigos!
