Someone once told me to never stop learning. My trip this coming week to San Diego is about following that advice. I'm attending the West Coast School of Photography which is put on by the Professional Photographers of California. They are an affiliate of the Professional Photographers of America. The week long school is held at San Diego University in San Diego. I attended this particular school for the first time in 2019, taking a class in lighting from Tim Meyer. I attached a couple of photographs, one of a model I photographed while I was there and the other a scene I snapped while we were doing portraiture at the beach. This next week I'll be studying digital painting under the tutelage of Sandra Pearce. On Monday we'll be out at the San Diego Wild Animal Park photographing animals from which to create paintings. I can't wait to get there and expand my horizons. If you can't find something to do - consider finding classes on something you love or something you've always wanted to do. You'll find it to be worth every penny.
