Every year, eager children come to our studio to visit Santa Claus. It's not the usual sit down for 10 seconds and smile (or cry) while a teenager, hired yesterday, takes your picture. Our visiting children spend a lot of time participating in various interactive activities with the man in red while I photograph the activities. Last Saturday a family with four girls showed up at our door with five girls. The fifth was a cousin the family was taking care of. The one-year-old patiently sat next to her aunt and watched her four cousins enjoy their time with Santa. When we were done we took a photograph of the baby next to him. I decided a little fun was in order and waved on of the younger girls over to take the photographs for me. I set her on my lap and directed her finger to the shutter button. I set my trigger on hers and assisted her in creating some images of her cousin. unknown to me, her mother used a cell phone to snap this image of me and her daughter. I think it is gorgeous! This is just one example of why our Storybook Santa experience sessions are so much fun.
