Santa and I do several training sessions a year to hone our skills and refresh our memories as we prepare for our Santa Experience sessions and implement changes. I had a vested interest in this training session. They are some of my brother’s grandkids. I share a special relationship with their oldest daughter. The family lived close to us when she was two or three year’s old. When I would stop by to visit she would crawl up onto my lap without any coaxing at all. Often she would come to me before she would go to her dad. We always laughed about it! They moved out of state until about a year ago. One day after moving back to Utah they came over to visit. When the family came in the door it was just like before. That little kid, now seven, ran down the hallway and jumped into my arms. She sat on my lap almost the entire time the family spent over catching up on things. We all laughed because it appeared the magic was still there. My question is what would happen if my brother, her grandfather, and I were standing next to each other in the hallway the next time she and her family come over! Hmm, I wonder?
